Hello, guys! I found this tag on TheGeekyAuror and thought I might want to do it. This looks like fun!

1. What was the last book you read?

The Sky Is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson.

2. Was it a good one?

Meh. Not really. It was okay. 3.8/5🌟

3. What made it good?

The poems…I guess?

4. Would you recommend it to other people?

Nope. But if you wanna read it, go ahead. I heard many people actually enjoyed that book.

5. How often do you read?

5-6 books a month in average. Sometimes if I’m in a crazy reading mood, I won’t stop reading. But there are times when I don’t feel like reading at all. So instead, I watch movies.

6. Do you like to read?

Lol why else would I start a bookstagram?

7.What was the last bad book you read?

Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. I don’t know, but I don’t like it. I pity Hannah, though.

8. What made you dislike it?

Hannah Baker is stupid.

9. Do you wish to be a writer?

Honestly, yes. But I’m not good at writing so…..

10. Has any book every influenced you greatly?

Urmm…Harry Potter books? It made me see the good side of wizards and witches. Of magic. I used to think that magic is evil. (I was Uther Pendragon)

11. Do you read fan fiction?

I used to! But now, I tend to focus on published books just to keep up with what everyone else’s reading!

12. Do you write fan fiction?

Yes, I used to, with my friends 😂 but the main characters were my friends’ crushes LMAO

13. What’s your favorite book?

I don’t know why, but every time I get asked this question, I’d say Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes. But to think of it again, Harry Potter gave the better impact on my life. Honestly, I’m not even sure myself. *shrugs*

14. What’s your least favorite book?

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by J.K. Rowling…? I was so disappointed to know that the book only consists of references about magical creatures. I don’t really read encyclopedia, you know…

15. Do you prefer physical books or ready on a device (like a kindle)?

Floppy US covers for physical books! But I love reading e-books too. I can read it anywhere without getting my neck and back hurt.

16. When did you learn to read?

I remember that I loved reading when I was a kid, because I used to read Malay books at home, and read my sisters’ novels when I was 9. But I wasn’t an avid reader at the time, and I started to go crazy over books when I was 15.

17. What is your favorite book you had to read in school?

It was whether Istana Seri Menanti or Silir Daksina…I guess?

18. What is your favorite book series?

Didn’t I say Harry Potter?

19. Who is your favorite author?

I have a few, but Rainbow Rowell and Stephanie Perkins are definitely on my list.

20. What is your favorite genre?

YA Contemporary. But Low Fantasy and Sci-Fi are my favourites, too.

21. Who is your favorite character in a book series?

Jacob Black from the Twilight series. You have no idea how obsessed I am with him. Oh, wait. And Peeta Mellark from The Hunger Games trilogy. Does trilogy count?

22. Has a book ever transported you somewhere else?

Not yet.

23.Which book do you wish had a sequel?

That would be Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell. The ending makes me mad, still.

24. Which book do you wish DIDN’T have a sequel?

I’m not sure about that…

25. How long does it take you to read a book?

Depends on the book and my mood. Sometimes within less than 10 hours, sometimes days, sometimes weeks, and some other times months.

26. Do you like when books become movies?

Not every book. There are books that should have remained books. The directors suck, sometimes.

27. Which book was ruined by its movie adaptation?

Percy Jackson……………

28. Which movie has done a book justice?

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone? The Hunger Games movies are quite good too.

29. Do you read newspapers?

Not really. Only if the news intrigued me.

30: Do you read magazines?

I used to read E-pop, but it was too cringey I had to stop.

31. Do you prefer newspapers or magazines?

I would say…they’re both unintetesting. But magazines, please. More colours.

32. Do you read while in bed?

Yes. My favourite spot.

33. Do you read while on the toilet?

Euw no.

34. Do you read while in the car?

I wish I could, but motion sickness kills me every time 😣

35. Do you read while in the bath?

Nooooooo

36. Are you a fast reader?

Not really.

37. Are you a slow reader?

Kinda.

38. Where is your favorite place to read?

On my bed, near the window.

39. Is it hard for you to concentrate while you read?

Yes. I can’t concentrate when there’s music or there are people talking loudly.

40. Do you need a room to be silent while you read?

Yes, of course.

41. Who gave you your love for reading?

My sisters. They used to read local novels, but now they had stopped. Now I’m the one collecting and reading books.

42. What book is next on your list to read?

Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie.

43. When did you start to read chapter books?

Chapter books are in English. So, I guess…when I started reading again. 15.

44. Who is your favorite children’s book author?

I didn’t have one.

45. Which author would you most want to interview?

J.K. Rowling. I have a lot of questions to ask.

46. Which author do you think you’d be friends with?

Romina Russell, V.E. Schwab or Sara Raasch. They’re super friendly!

47. What book have you reread the most?

I don’t reread books.

48. Which books do you consider “classics”?

Jane Austen’s, William Shakespeare’s, Mark Twain’s, Jules Verne’s, Virginia Woolf’s,…etc

49. Which books do you think should be taught in every school?

Classics are YA Contemporary books. And the ones with moral values.

50. Which books should be banned from all schools?

Erotic books………..?
